BANANE (plantain chip) crusted Lion’s Mane over Spaghetti Arrabbiata

This simple Plant-based pasta dish will add the classiness you’re looking for when making that certain someone dinner this weekend 😎🥰aka YOU …you’re that certain someone.


Serving Size: 2-3 people


Ingredients:

BANANE crusted Lion’s Mane

  • 4 oz Lion’s Mane mushroom

  • 3/4 cup Organic Unbleached All purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup BANANE chips

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 dash of cumin

  • 1 dash of onion powder

  • 1 dash of garlic powder

  • 1 dash of paprika

  • 1 dash of parsley flakes

  • 3/4 cup of oat milk

  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth

  • Olive Oil


Spaghetti Arrabbiata


Topping


Directions:

BANANE crusted Lion’s Mane

  1. Wash, separate and dry lion‘s mane

  2. Blend BANANE plantain chips until it is powdered

  3. Add flour, BANANE, and other dry ingredients into mixing bowl

  4. Add lion’s mane to batter and place on plate once coated

  5. Add vegetable broth to Oat milk

  6. Dip breaded lion’s mane into oat milk and place back in batter

  7. Add oil to pan to coat pot

  8. Place battered lion’s mane in oil and flip when bottom gets a golden crust (second side should take a lot less time to brown)

  9. Place lion’s mane on dry paper towel


Spaghetti Arrabbiata

  1. Fill medium pot with 3/4 water and bring to boil

  2. Add dash of salt

  3. Add 1/2 pack of spaghetti to boiling water

  4. Place a tablespoon of oil in small pot and add Arrabbiata sauce to it. Cover and let simmer on low heat

  5. Add 1/4 cup of pasta water to sauce + any other seasoning you like

  6. Drain pasta


Serve

  1. Add Spaghetti to a bowl

  2. Pour desired amount of sauce on top

  3. Drop a couple lion‘s mane nugs on top of that

  4. Cut fresh green onions on top

  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over everything
